Your Worth

Who decides our worth and value? Do we have any part to play in how we are perceived? It is easy to fall back on the deviant and incorrect perception others have and loose focus and sight of our inherent self worth.

Underestimating our fellow beings comes easy to us. It is strangely internalized with us. Everyone we meet ends up being judges to our self worth. In our professional and personal dealings close people have their perception thrust upon us. These maim us and make us believe that we are less than what we are. Self confidence can only take us so far. The tides of ignorant demeaning, derogatory feedback drowns those attempts.

Being left completely broken and fractured. Many of us have been subjected to the same treatment, we in fact become used to it and start believing the same fate will follow us to grave.

It is all a lie. A deceit. We need only to break out of the mold. We need to challenge the words throwing us back and break out of the net of perceptions binding us. We need to meet new people and see what effect we have on them. We need to meet new challenges and see how we fair in them.

We need to walk out of our shelter and stand under the sunlight. We are valuable and everyday we need to remind ourselves the same.
